Pecan Shell Mulch

Living Earth - Mulch - Pecan Shell Mulch - Click to view larger imagePecan Shell Mulch consists of pecan shells which are a natural byproduct of the Texas pecan industry. They are an excellent choice for use on all planting areas to conserve water, suppress weeds, moderate soil temperatures, lower pH, and add valuable nutrients. Pecan shells are very acidic with a pH of less than 5, making them an ideal addition to our alkaline soils and a great choice for annual color beds where plants are changed out several times a year.
